Confidentiality

Are your services confidential?

I respect the privacy of my clients.  My professional integrity and ethics require me to keep everything you discuss confidential.   I will not release information to a third party without your written consent.
However, there are a few exceptions:

1. If you are under 16, or someone you know is under 16, and are being neglected or abused, physically, emotionally and/or sexually
2. If you tell me you plan to hurt yourself or someone else
3. If court is requesting information about your sessions

Conditions of confidentiality will be shared in your first session.
